How to Create Google Business Listing – Step by Step Process.

I’m Sure; You heard how Google my business helps local businesses so that you want to list your business in Google My Business to get the most benefits from it.

But don’t know, how to create a Google My Business Account for your business, no worries in this blog post I’m going to explain step by step process to create GMB

You can create GMB in under 10 Minutes.

But before going to the creating process, I will tell you a few vital information.

Google My Business is the most crucial for any local business, and it helps businesses to get customers by showing your business information online when customers are searching for your services or products.

But if you want to get more business out of it, you should provide NAP (Name, Address, And Phone Number) Correctly, and it should also match the contact information on your website.

And also ensure that you have added categories that most relevant to your business, the areas that your business offer services and the timings that your company operates 

1. Visit the Google My Business 

This is the first step you should do to create Google My Business listings for your business.

Visit this URL: https://www.google.com/business/

2. Click Sign in and Log in With Your Gmail Id.

Once you visited that URL,  GMB will ask you to log in, and you need to enter the Gmail id and password, if you don’t have the Gmail id, create one.

3. Add Your Business to Google.

After you log in to the GMB, you will get options.

1. If already listed your business in Google My Business type your business name in the field so that you can manage it.

2. Add your business to the Google: Select this to list your business in GMB

4. Enter your Business Name

Enter Your Business Name as you mentioned on Your website

5. Choose The Category That Fits Your Business Best

Choose the best category that suits best for your business, type a letter to find out the relevant categories to your business. 

Here you can only add one category, but later, you can add more relevant categories to your business.

6. If You Have A Store And Want Customers To Visit, Choose “YES” If Not Choose No

If you have a physical store and want your customers to visit the store, choose the yes.

In case if you did not have store select No.

7. Enter the Business Areas That You Offer Services.

It is one of the important options, you need to enter the locations of your service areas.

If you do not enter the areas that you are serving in GMB, you may not appear in search results when a user is searching for your business from that location.

8. Select The Country.

Select the region where your business is operated or located.

9. Enter The Contact Details That You Want To Show The Customers.

Enter the contact details like phone number and website URL that where your customers can reach you to buy your products or services 

10. Click Finish and Optimize

This is not the final option-click the finish button for the next step

11. Enter The Complete Address.

Enter the full address of your store, Google will send you a postcard with verification code. And it might reach you in 2 weeks.
